Fish the open waters or secluded bays of the main lake; seek adventure on any of our sparkling rivers; or simply soak-up the sunshine on our deserted sand beaches, and you will rest contented at the day’s end.

The finest in furnishings & workmanship went into making these luxurious & well-equipped facilities. Each unit, sleeping 2 guests, features a modern 4-piece bath, twin beds, thermostatically controlled gas heaters, a compact refrigerator & lounge chairs. Rooms are made up daily with careful attention to detail. We provide a special level of care which fosters warm relations between our guests & ourselves.

Packages include: Delicious meals for your entire stay. Continental breakfast on day of departure. A shore lunch kit with all the necessary items for preparing your catch. Or we will pack you a box lunch if you prefer. 18-foot cedar strip boats equipped with 15 h.p. motors for each 2 or 3 persons, landing net, minnow bucket, boat seats, fish finders and all of your gas requirements. Fish cleaning, packaging and freezing service for your catch.

Tatnall Camp

Base: Hawk Junction

Fly in to remote Oba Lake and enjoy a remote wilderness vacation at Tatnall Camp or ride in on the famous Algoma Central Railway from Hawk Junction or through the scenic Agawa Canyon out of Sault Ste. Marie. Tatnall Camp is your retreat from the bustle of the city, the hustling highway, a place where you can appreciate God's beauty. Excellent fishing for walleye, northern, jumbo perch and whitefish. Guests can fish the quiet, pristine waters of the Oba River, Tatnall or Whiteberry Creeks or fish the many rocky points, shoals, weed beds, and secluded bays throughout the lake.

We have 7 fully equipped log and wood frame cabins, electric fridges, shower, flush toilets, main lodge with television and pool table, freezer service and a store. 14 foot aluminum boats with seat cushionsand 9.9 and 15 HP motors including all gas. 7-5-4 day trips as well as a weekender trip are available.

Makokibatan Lodge and Albany River Outpost

Makokibatan Lodge is a four-star, deluxe All-Inclusive American Plan fishing lodge. Your package includes all those little extras that make your stay most enjoyable. An 80-mile float plane ride is what separates you from the rest of civilization to the south. Taking off and landing on water is an unforgettable experience that completes a perfect Canadian wilderness adventure. Makokibatan Lodge offers some of Northern Ontario's best walleye and northern pike fishing. Not only can you expect to catch large quantities of walleye, you'll be amazed at the number of trophy size walleye and monster pike that this lake harbors. A highlight to a fishing vacation at Makokibatan Lodge is a guided trip on the Albany River itself. A full day spent traveling through some of Canada's most spectacular scenery, running exciting rapids and catching plenty of fish.

It's a fishing vacation you'll remember for a lifetime for the service and hospitality and the delicious daily shore lunches with freshly caught walleye. Our chef provides our guests with hearty and delicious home cooked meals served in our spacious dining room overlooking the lake. First class all the way! You'll enjoy the lake scenery, and sunsets, from the large front deck overlooking beautiful Makokibatan Lake. Spend the evening playing cards in the lodge, or shopping in the tuck and tackle shop.

Our six "four star" log cottages are fully equipped to meet your every need. Each has three bedrooms with two single beds, cozy wool blankets, large dressers, bedside lamps, and a three-piece washroom complete with shower. As well, the cottages have large living rooms to enjoy the waterfront views, large tables for card playing, cozy wood heater with thermostatic control, and the small refrigerator. It's luxury living in a remote wilderness setting. Each party will have their own private cabin. We are the only lodge on the lake.

From Leuenberger's Air Base in Nakina, you will be flown directly into the lodge on float equipped DeHavilland Beaver or Otter.

Air Ivanhoe & Ivanhoe River Inn

Base: Foleyet

Air Ivanhoe and The Ivanhoe River Inn offer the best in Fly-In fishing on remote Northern Ontario Lakes for Walleye, Northern Pike, Perch, and Trout. We are located 7 miles west of Foleyet and approximately 40 miles east of Chapleau on Hwy. 101. The Ivanhoe River Inn located on Ivanhoe Lake is a full service Lodge and one of Ontario's largest verticle log fishing lodges. For your use we have purchased a one ton four wheel drive four door truck equipped with two 14 ft aluminum boats and motors for accessing numerous drive-in lakes in the immediate area. Fishing is for lake trout, brook trout, walleye, northern pike and smallmouth bass. Boat -In fishing trips are also available on the Ivanhoe River for great family vacations! Be sure to visit our newest addition the Nemegosenda Fly in Lodge for more exciting fishing in Ontario!

Accommodations are housekeeping cottages, suites and VIP suites that accommodate from 2-4 up to 12 people. All units are equipped for light housekeeping with thermostatically controlled electric heat, full size refrigerator, stove, lights, all dishes, cookware, silverware, towels, pillows, mattresses, sheets, and blankets. Dish soap, hand and body soap supplied. We also offer a color television in each suite. Boat docking facilities available at no additional charge.

American Plan rates include Suite, three excellent homecooked meals daily, S-14 Lund boat with 15 H.P. Yamaha motor and all mixed fuel for each 2 adults. The boats are equipped with paddles, anchors, flotation cushions, swivel padded boat seats, landing net, and minnow bucket. For your comfort we offer daily maid service, daily boat cleaning and refueling, fish freezing. An ample supply of live bait included in this package.

Departing from our seaplane base on Ivanhoe Lake you can choose from our fly-inn and boat-inn vacations at 22 different outposts on the rivers and lakes in our area. All are situated in beautiful private settings, in fact at many of our cabins and camps you are the only party on the lake. Enjoy fine catches of walleye, northern, jumbo perch, and white fish. Some lake have been catch and release fishing for 15 years. If you want isolation, we will fly you out to one of these choice sites. You will be flying in the aircraft of choice for safety and reliability. Whether you are after dynamite fishing, are up for the excitement and adventure of a unique wilderness experience, or are ready for a relaxing and enjoyable stay lakeside, we look forward to accommodating you.

Midnorth Outpost Camp

North Eastern Ontario remote fly-in fishing out of Chapleau Ont. Are you looking to do something special with your family or friends this summer? Consider a trip to one of our remote wilderness cabins. All our cabins are located on there own private lake, yes that's right, one cabin per lake. Just you your family and the great outdoors accessible only by float plane. These hideaways boast of spectacular scenery, clean air cool clear waters and feisty fish. You will see the stars like you have never seen before, and the northern light if your timing is right. Hear the mysterious cry of the majestic loon...the warning splash of a beaver...the faint howl of a distant wolf...sight an eagle soaring overhead or moose feasting on river greens...all this and much more is yours to enjoy while you explore the area.

Choose from 7 fantastic fly-in fishing destinations: Our lakes house a variety of fish, Walleye, Lunker Northern Pike, Bass, Brook Trout, Lake Trout, Perch, and White Fish. If you have a preferred species that you would like to fish, we can tailor you up to your own private lake.

What we provide: 6 night 7 day stay, flight in and out, via the legendary BEAVER bush plane from our Chapleau base. Boat, motor,(+ spare) gas, paddles, anchors. 2 Propane fridges, 1 full and a 1/2 size. Stove, lights. Gas BBQ's with propane. Outdoor chairs. Pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, glasses.Foam mattresses. Wood burning stove for heat (fire wood will be supplied). Mid-week check flights available at a additional cost of $300. Cell phones do not work. For satellite phone rentals can be arranged.
